The 2003 season overall was pretty good, lots of swell but
some strong offshore winds.
We conducted 4
trips, 2 had excellent conditions throughout, 1 had a mix of good
& fair conditions and 1 had a mix of fair and poor conditions.
A total of 6
weeks were spent engaged in charters, 2 weeks were excellent, 2 weeks were
good, 1 week was a mix of good and fair conditions and 1 week was fair to poor. The
fair to poor trip was a result of a very late un-seasonal
cyclone in early June which made for windy offshore conditions.
I wish to thank all
the guys that came along during the season and the cook, Becky the deckie,
who looked after us well. Each one of them brought a
special element of enjoyment to each of the trips. A great bunch of crew.
Looking forward to seeing some of you next near. Thanks
guys.
